Drop-in classes are an ideal way to combine practice, learning and community. Enjoy some guided meditation, discuss an interesting topic, engage in some relational mindfulness, all in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

MAPs / Level 1
Mindful Awareness Practices are the signature educational programs of UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center. The classes lay the foundation for students to understand basic principles of mindfulness, develop a personal meditation practice, and to apply the principles in their daily life on an ongoing basis. Each class is a combination of lecture, practice, and group feedback and discussion. These classes are suitable for ages 16 and over.

Fridays 10:30am – 12:30pm (starting January 8th w/Tina)
