Experience mindfulness in a welcoming, educational environment

Drop-In

Drop-in classes are an ideal way to combine practice, learning and community.  Enjoy some guided meditation, discuss an interesting topic, engage in some relational mindfulness, all in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

MAPs / Level 1

Mindful Awareness Practices are the signature educational programs of UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center.  The classes lay the foundation for students to understand basic principles of mindfulness, develop a personal meditation practice, and to apply the principles in their daily life on an ongoing basis.  Each class is a combination of lecture, practice, and group feedback and discussion.  These classes are suitable for ages 16 and over.

Level 2

Designed for practitioners with some experience who might need assistance in overcoming the obstacles that arise when developing a strong, consistent practice.

Level 3

Designed for the experienced practitioner who wishes to deepen their practice through an intense and focused exploration.

Private / Group
